Ali Hasanov on Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and int’l separatism at Brussels forum

The international forum titled 'Threats of Separatism to International Peace and Security' has opened in Brussels today. The conference is co-organized by Azerbaijan's State Committee on Work with Diaspora and the European Azerbaijanis' Congress.

Participants in the event include the Azerbaijani President’s Assistant for Public and Political Affairs Ali Hasanov, representatives of the Azerbaijani embassy in Belgium, Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora Nazim Ibrahimov, heads of Azerbaijan’s diaspora organizations in Europe, as well as many international experts, political figures, former presidents, prime ministers and chairpersons of parliament.

Ali Hasanov stressed that it is very important to hold discussions to find a way to solve the crisis caused by dangerous trends such as international terrorism and ethnic separatism in the Mediterranean, which connects the EU, North Africa, the Middle East and Southeastern Europe.

The forum highlights violation of countries` territorial integrity at regional and global levels, and the ways of solving conflicts caused by separatism and addressing separatist trends.
