Iran tests new supersonic ballistic missile

Iran has tested new ballistic missiles named Persian Gulf, produced by
the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC). The speed of the
rockets exceeds the speed of sound, Trend reports, referring to the
Iranian news agency Fars.

Earlier, the head of the IRGC, Mohammad Ali Jafari, announced that
Iran will launch production of ballistic missiles on an industrial
scale, the news agency IRNA reported.
