Georgian opposition calls for protest during president's speech

The non-parliamentary opposition of Georgia has called for a protest
at parliament building when President Mikheil Saakashvili makes his
speech, Trend reports.

One of the opposition leaders, Lasha Chkhartishvili, said that people
must protest against the president's policies that will lead to
"famine". The briefing was held together with a member of the People's
Party Aleko Shalamberidze and representatives of refugees.

Opposition says that president should feel the people's rage. It can
only be achieved with mass protests.

Saakashvili will make his speech on February 11.
