US changes national strategy in favor of cooperation with Russia

For the first time in seven years the United States has changed its national military strategy, making it more favorable for cooperation with Russia, ITAR-TASS reports.

The document says that the US will improve relations with Russia and strive for cooperation with Russia in the spheres of anti-terrorism efforts, nuclear non-proliferation and space and missile defense.

The US will also welcome a more active role played by Russia in providing security in Asia.
