Azerbaijani president opens Qazakh-Georgia road

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has taken part in the opening of
the 36-kilometre state border highway Qazakh-Georgia, 1news.az cites
the president's website as saying.

Transport Minister Ziya Mamedov said that the state project started in
August last year. Impressa was the contractor in reconstructing the
road, Accord was the sub-contractor. 736,000 cubic meters of earth was
moved, 27,000 cubic meters of asphalt was laid. The two-line road is
15 meters wide. It has 3 bridges and 8 bus stops.

IAliyev cut the red line and had talks with an official from Impressa
Ayroldi Morgan.
