Bomb found in Stavropol apartment of killed militant - source

The Russian police have found an improvised explosive device in the Stavropol residential building rocked by an explosion last night, an informed source said.

"A bomb equivalent to 5 kilograms of TNT was found in the apartment," Interfax cited the source as saying.

He added that police officers and investigators are working on the scene.

A source said earlier that the man killed in the Stavropol residential building was likely to be a member of the Zelenchuk gang liquidated in the Karachay-Cherkessia Republic.
