Bitcoin exchange rate down 12%

Bitcoin exchange rate fell by 12.5%, according to the data of the electronic cryptocurrency platform Coinmarketcap.

As of 11:00 (MSK), Bitcoin price was $14,608, Gazeta.ru reported.

Bitcoin plunged below $14,000 in overnight trading after the South Korean government warned it may close some cryptocurrency exchanges amid "irrationally overheated" trading, the Business Insider reported.
