Foreign Ministry sees no obstacles for Russian tourists in Egypt

tourists in Egypt, noting that the local authorities control the
situation in the republic after long-term disorders that left hundreds
dead.
Advisor of the consulate department of the ministry Gocha Buachidze
said that he met the governor of the Red Sea Province who assured the
Russian official that all measures needed to keep order were taken.
Buachidze said that there are few Russian tourists left in Egypt. Only
372 people out of tens of thousands are left in Hurghada, according to
the information on February 10. He also said that Russia is planning
to open a consulate in Hurghada.
