Russia takes over chairmanship in EEU from Kyrgyzstan
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaThe chairmanship in the Eurasian Economic Union bodies in 2018 was passed to Russia from Kyrgyzstan.
This year Russia will head the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council (consisting of the Heads of the Member States), the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council (consisting of the Prime Ministers of member states) and the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
In 2019 the chairmanship in Eurasian Economic Union bodies will be taken over by Armenia.
