Dagestan rescuers warn of avalanche danger in mountains

Four districts of Dagestan- Tsuntinsky, Tsumadinsky, Akhtynsky, and Bezhta - are on alert with heavy snowfalls, there is a risk of avalanches, the press center of the republican department of  EMERCOM reported today.

The danger of avalanches will persist tomorrow, January 5. Yesterday, the rescue department warned that the avalanche danger was high in the Dagestan mountains at an altitude of over 1000 m, Kavkaz Segodnya reports.
