Alania’s gold exhibition opens in Vladikavkaz

A unique exhibition of Alania’s gold opened in the renovated building of the National Museum of North Ossetia in Vladikavkaz. The collection was being formed of jewelry discovered during the archaeological excavations on the territory of the republic, for several years.

Among the exhibits at the exhibition are the noble Sarmatian woman complex, dating back to the 1st century BC, as well as the harness and parade horse dress of an Alan warrior found during excavations on the territory of Beslan, Kavkaz Segodnya reports.
