Azerbaijani army gets new mine-clearance vehicles

Azerbaijani army will receive 30 "Matador" and "Marauder" mine-clearance vehicles, to be sent to the military by the Ministry of  Defence and Industry of Azerbaijan in the nearest future, APA reports.

These military vehicles were assembled and brought into operating condition in Baku, based on a license from the South African company"Paramount Group", together with the enterprise MOS.

The vehicles are equipped mainly with 14.5 and 12.7 calibre machine guns and have a V-shaped chassis, which allows them to protect personnel from shrapnel and shock waves after a mine explosion.
