Three renovated wharfs to open in Sochi

By the end of March 2011 three renovated wharfs will be put in operation in Adler, Matsest and Lazarevskoe, YuGA.ru reports, citing the press service of the Krasnodar Region Department on the preparations for the 2014 Olympics.

The wharfs are being upgraded as part of the Olympic facilities construction program, which contains a number of concrete measures aimed at creating and modernizing the maritime transport infrastructure.

The program envisages constructing or reconstructing eight passenger terminals in the sea port of Sochi: in Imereti Bay, in Adler, Kurortny Gorodok, Khost, Matsest, Dagomys, Loo, and Lazarevskoe.
