Russian Ministry of Transport assesses the damage to Dzhugba-Sochi highway

Russian Deputy Minister of Transport Oleg Belozerov has arrived in Krasnodar, where he is leading the work on repairing the Dzhubga-Sochi federal highway, which was damaged by a landslide, RIA Novosti reports, quoting the press service of the regional administration.

According to recent reports, the landslide destroyed 50 meters of roadbed, while the road subsided nearly six meters. This section of road is now closed and traffic is being redirected via a detour through the Shaumyansky pass.
