Turkey not to build wall along its borders with Georgia and Armenia - media

Turkey will not build wall along its borders with Georgia and Armenia will ramp-up efforts to secure these borders, but the country's Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu said.

Soylu said those borders will be protected using other methods instead of walls - electronic equipment for border security control will be installed along the borders, the Hürriyet newspaper reported.

Turkey has completed more than half of a 144-kilometer-long wall along its border with Iran to prevent irregular migration, smuggling and the infiltration of terrorists.
