US tries to influence situation in the Russian Federation on the eve of elections through sanctions, Ryabkov says  

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov said that the personal anti-Russian sanctions that are being prepared in the United States are an attempt to influence the situation in Russia on the eve of the presidential elections.

"We take this philosophically," he said, commenting on the preparation of a report containing a list of persons who might be subject to the US sanctions.
