Georgia celebrates National Flag Day

Today Georgia marks National Flag Day that is also known as the Five Cross Flag of Georgia, Agenda.ge reports.

Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili raised the national flag with the children of Georgian heroes Giorgi Antsukhelidze and Zaza Damenia at the Presidential Palace this morning.

The Georgian national flag will be festively raised in different regions of Georgia. Citizens are also encouraged to raise symbolic flags out of their windows to join the national celebration.
