Putin on tour around Astrakhan region

Russian Premier Vladimir Putin has arrived in the Astrakhan region, which is in top five biggest gas producing regions of the country, reports RIA Novosti.

The head of the government will visit the ice-resistant stationary sea platform at the Korchagin oil-field. He will also host a meeting on the problems of developing hydrocarbonic deposits in the Russian zone of the Caspian Sea.
