Avalanche sweeps away skier in Dombay

A rescue operation is being carried out to find a skier who provoked an avalanche in Karachay-Cherkessia Dombay resort.

Witnesses reported that the avalanche swept away a skier, who provoked it, riding outside the track, TASS reports.

The rescue department specified that skiing is prohibited in that area of the mountain, where the skier was.
