China's GDP overtakes Japan's

Japan has officially lost second place in terms of GDP to China after
the publications of Japanese statistics, Japanese radio reports.

The GDP in Japan is $5.39 trillion. Chinese GDP is equal to $5.75
trillion. The Japanese economy rate was 2.8% last year, Chinese - 10%,
according to the IMF. The average GDP per capita in China is $4,500,
in Japan - $40,000.

Experts say that the problems with Japanese economy come from
reduction of export and consumer demand, while China  increasing
production continues. There are forecasts saying that China will be
ahead of the USA in 10 years, exceeding the US GDP of $14.2 trillion.
