Azerbaijani soldiers prevent Armenian provocation near Fuzuli district

Azerbaijan's Armed Forces have prevented attempted provocation of the Armenian army in the direction of the country's Fuzuli district, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said.

As a result of preventive measures taken by the Azerbaijani army, one Armenian soldier was killed and two were seriously wounded. The Armenian forces were forced to retreat, Trend reported.

The defense ministry added that the Azerbaijani army fully controls the operational situation on the frontline.
