False alarm at parliament of Karachay-Cherkessia

This afternoon, February 14, the head of Karachay-Cherkessia, Boris
Ebzeev, was urgently evacuated from the headquarters of the local
government in Cherkessk, where the intelligence agencies are looking
for a bomb, Yuga.ru reports.

An e-mail claiming explosive devices had been placed in the building
was sent to a governmental official.

The investigation showed that the message was a hoax, the spokesman of
the Interior Ministry, Kazim Baybanov, told RIA Novosti.
