Explosion shakes Yerevan residential house

A powerful explosion hit an apartment block N10 in Yerevan's Vratsakan Street this morning at 05:11am local time, the country’s Ministry of Emergency Situations said.

The blast happened on the first floor. It destroyed a 12-meter balcony, interior partitions and one external wall of the apartment as well as the doors and windows. 

The explosion hit also an apartment on the second floor. Ten cars outside the building were hit as well. 

Two fire brigades arrived in the scene. Rescuers evacuated 14 residents of the house. No victims were reported., News.am reported.
