Muslim Brotherhood forms official party

The Islamic opposition organization in Egypt, the Muslim Brotherhood,
has announced the establishment of a political party, Trend cites the
organization’s website on Tuesday.

The Muslim Brotherhood emphasized that they planned to found a party
before, but it was forbidden by the government.

The Muslim Brotherhood is the largest Islamic organization in Egypt,
established in 1920 and banned in 1954. The organization announced its
plan to form a party after resignation of Egyptian President Hosni
Mubarak.
