Istanbul universities to hold conferences on memory of Khojaly genocide

Yeni Yuzyil, Bahchechehir and Aydin Universities will hold memorial conferences in Istanbul dedicated to the 26th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide, the Azerbaijani parliament said.

Azerbaijan's MP Nagif Gamzayev will address these memorial conferences. During his speech, the deputy will provide information on the history of the Karabakh conflict and the Khojaly genocide.

Turkish deputies, rectors, heads of municipalities, heads of NGOs and media representatives will also take part in the event.

During the conferences, the universities will organize exhibitions of photos, books and other documents about the tragedy.
