Ilham Aliyev registered as Azerbaijan's first presidential candidate

Azerbaijan’s Central Election Commission (CEC) has registered Ilham Aliyev’s candidacy, nominated by the ruling New Azerbaijan Party for the upcoming presidential election, at a CEC meeting today.

Thus, Ilham Aliyev officially became the first presidential candidate.

The presidential election in Azerbaijan will be held on April 11, 2018.
