Will EEU create analogue of Euronews?

Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Tigran Sargsyan and chairperson of the Kazakh Senate's international affairs, security and defense committee, Dariga Nazarbayeva, discussed topical issues of Eurasian integration.

Dariga Nazarbayeva said she believes the media coverage of integration processes is insufficient and suggested creating the Eurasian Economic Union's (EEU) television channel, Interfax Kazakhstan reported.

She proposed to discuss the possibility of creating the EEU television channel, similar to Euronews.

Members of the EEC board Timur Zhaksylykov, Marat Kusainov and a Senate delegation took part in the meeting.
