Explosion in London investigated by police
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaHomes and businesses were evacuated after police were called to an explosion in Romford, east London yesterday.
Police and emergency services were called to the scene in Harold Hill and a cordon was in place along a row of shops for several hours.
Officers said the explosion it is not being treated as terror-related and later confirmed it was gas related. They added that no one was injured in the blast, MetroUK reported.
Locals evacuated from their properties have since been able to return.
