Mehriban Aliyeva meets with Foreign Policy Adviser to Japanese Prime Minister

First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva has today met with Foreign Policy Adviser to the Prime Minister of Japan Tomohiko Taniguchi, the president’s press service reported, AzVision.az reports.

Azerbaijan's First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva expressed her confidence that Foreign Policy Adviser to the Prime Minister of Japan Tomohiko Taniguchi’s visit would contribute to the development of the bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Japan. Besides, Mehriban Aliyeva hailed the successful development of the friendly cooperation between two countries in economic, political and humanitarian fields highlighting the importance of the State Commission on Economic Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Japan.

Touching upon the successful bilateral relations on energy sphere, Mehriban Aliyeva said that two of great Japanese companies -  "IMPEX" and "ITOCHU" have been operating in our country for many years. Besides, she stressed their active involvement in development of Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli oil fields. Azerbaijani First Vice-President stated that being one of the world's most advanced economies Japan draw the attention of the world for its experience in information, construction technologies and transport fields.
