The agreement between Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates on visa-free travel came into force today, the Foreign Ministry of Kazakhstan said.

The Kazakh people now can freely visit the UAE for up to 30 days, but in case of violation of this term, they will be fined.

Upon entrance to the country, the citizens should provide a passport, the validity of which is not less than 6 months. Women are allowed to enter the territory of the UAE unaccompanied by men, if they reached the age when they can be held accountable under the law, but minors should be accompanied by parents. If a child travels without parents, parents need to provide a consent to leave, AKIpress reported.

The ministry also stressed that the visa-free regime does not apply to those who intend to find employment in the UAE. However, negotiations and business meetings are allowed.
