Results of FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup

Finals of the FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup have ended today it Baku.

On the first day of finals, Azerbaijani gymnast Marina Nekrasova won silver medal in vault competitions, scoring 14.216 points in the finals. Oksana Chusovitina (Uzbekistan), who scored 14,300 points, won the gold medal in the vault competitions, while Tyasha Kiseleff (Slovenia) won the bronze medal with 13,833 points.

Japan’s Kazuma Kaya won the gold medal in men’s floor exercises. He scored 14.233 points in the finals. Ukraine’s Vladimir Gribuk won a silver medal with the result of 14.200 points, while Slovenia’s Rok Klavora, who scored 14.000 points, won bronze.

Japanese gymnast Kenta Chiba won the gold medal in parallel bars exercises. In the final, Chiba scored 14.999 points. The second place went to Belarusian gymnast Andrey Likhovitsky, who scored 14.666 points, and the third place - Turkey’s Ferhat Arican, who scored 14.366 points.

On the second day, Belarusian gymnast Pavel Bulavsky won the gold medal of vault competitions. He scored 14,283 points. Representative of the Philippines Carlos Edriel Yulo, who scored, 14,183 points ranked second, and Georgia’s Konstantin Kuzovkov won the bronze medal.

Winners of the FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup in balance beam competitions among women have also been determined on March 18.  Representatives of China – Luo Huan and Jiaqi Liu, who scored 13,400 and 12,933 points respectively, ranked first and second. Uzbekistan’s representative, Oksana Chusovitina, scored 12,866 points and won the bronze medal.

Chinese gymnast Hao Weng won the gold medal in exercises on pommel horse. He scored 15,100 points. Lee Chih Kai, representative of Chinese Taipei, ranked second, and Japan’s Takaaki Sugino won the bronze medal.

Croatian gymnast Ana Derek won the gold medal in women’s floor exercises. She scored 13,533 points. Greece’s Ioanna Xoulogi scored 12,733 points and ranked second, while Turkey’s representative Demet Mutlu won the bronze medal.

In total, 102 gymnasts from 25 countries took part in the competitions, Trend reported.
