Putin and Kokoity discuss the restoration of South Ossetia
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaAt a meeting in Moscow on February 16 the head of South Ossetia Eduard Kokoity and Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin discussed the implementation of a comprehensive recovery plan for South Ossetia, IA Res reports.
Eduard Kokoity thanked Putin for the help and support that Russia gives to the young independent republic in this task. He also noted that the changes in the mechanism of interaction between relevant government agencies of both countries has significantly increased the pace of restoration work, and meetings held in the middle of last year with the Prime Minister and the President of Russia played an important role in this process.The meeting was attended by Minister of Regional Development Viktor Basargin, Deputy Head of the government apparatus Yuri Ushakov, Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin, Deputy Minister for Regional Development and the chairman of the intergovernmental commission Roman Panov and head of the government of South Ossetia Vadim Brovtsev
