Road accident kills 17 migrants in eastern Turkey (PHOTO)

The death toll in the result of a major traffic accident involving a bus on the Igdir-Kars highway in eastern Turkey increased to 17, Anadolu agency reported.

The number of wounded is 36. The wounded were taken to hospitals.

The bus driver lost control, as a result of which the bus collided with a road sign.

Earlier, 15 dead and 30 wounded were reported.

Migrants from Afghanistan and Pakistan, who entered Turkey illegally were reportedly in the bus.
