Russian juniors win silver medal in tumbling team competitions among women
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaFinals of the juniors team tumbling competitions among women in the framework of the European Championships in Trampoline, Tumbling and Double Mini-Trampoline have ended in Baku.
British athletes won the gold medal. The best results were shown by Emmy Antonius (34,800 points), Jessica Bryan (32,400 points) and Kaetlyn Lafferty (32,200 points). In total, British athletes scored 99.400 points.
Russian team came second, scoring 95.700 points. Elena Stepanova (32.600 points), Diana Bratkova (31.700 points) and Polina Dorokhova showed the best results.
French national team came third with 94.500 points.
The 26th European Championships in Trampoline, Tumbling and Double Mini-Trampoline is currently held in Baku. More than 400 gymnasts from 25 countries are expected to participate in it. In the first two days of the competitions, qualifications for all types of events both among junior and senior gymnasts as well as finals among teams were held, on the last day, medalists will be known in all four types of the gymnastics events.
