Russians win gold medals of European Cup in tumbling team competitions

As a correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza reports, the first place was taken by the Russian team, which scored 115,500 points. The best results were shown by Vadim Afanasiev (39.700 points), Grigory Noskov (38.300 points) and Alexander Lisitsyn (37.500 points).
The second place was taken by the athletes from Great Britain, in total, they scored 115.100 points. Among British, Christoph Willerton (38,900 points), Eliot Brown (38,600 points) and Greg Townleigh (37,600 points) were the best.
Denmark became third with 110.600 points. The best results in the team were shown by Rasmus Stephensen (38,800 points), Anders Wesch (37,600 points) and David Herbs (110,600 points).
The 26th European Championships in Trampoline, Tumbling and Double Mini-Trampoline is currently held in Baku. More than 400 gymnasts from 25 countries are expected to participate in it. In the first two days of the competitions, qualifications for all types of events both among junior and senior gymnasts as well as finals among teams were held, on the last day, medalists will be known in all four types of the gymnastics events.
