Friends and relatives helped me to win gold medal of the European Championships, Azerbaijani gymnast Mikhail Malkin said today at the sidelines of the European Championships in Trampoline, Tumbling and Double Mini-Trampoline in an interview with Vestnik Kavkaza.

"It feels amazing, because I have never won anything like this. When I did second combination my hand slipped, I thought that I will fall, but I still managed to pull it off. My coach waved to me, showed that everything is fine, that I got enough points to win, and when I saw the score I immediately relaxed," he said.

"Of course, my relatives and friends helped me to win. Wherever I look, my friends were everywhere. And it's the most important thing - fans and friends. I'm speechless, I can't describe what I'm feeling right now," Mikhail Malkin said.
