Heavy snows cut access to Georgian villages

Heavy snow in Tianeti District has cut off access to some villages
over the last few days. Special equipment was mobilized to clear the
roads on the Tianeti-Zhinvali section of road, where the snow layer
has reached 1 m, Georgia Online reports.

Roads to two villages in Dushetia District - Ukan Pshavi and Chonkadze
- were blocked with snow. The administration of Mtskheta-Mtianeti
District told Caucasus-Press that even vehicles with high accessing
ability are failing to reach some villages.
