Rebecca Gergalo: AGF organizes high-level gymnastic competitions
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaAzerbaijan Gymnastics Federation show the highest level of organizing gymnastic competitions every year, Finnish gymnast Rebecca Gergalo said, speaking with the correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza after the qualification round with hoop and ball routines.
"It's already my fourth time in Baku, and the organisation of all four tournaments I attended was great. And the really good thing about the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation is its diligent attention to detail, including the buses that brings us to the arena and an accurate following to the schedule," she explained.
"And, of course, I really like the National Gymnastic Arena in Baku, it was built with great attention to the needs of gymnasts. And of course, Baku fans are outstanding as always, they warmly welcome every athlete who enters the arena," Rebecca Gergalo added.
The International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup is being at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku on April 27-29. Some 127 gymnasts from 26 countries are participating in the tournament. Depending on the results of the qualification, the winners of all-around and the participants of the finals in individual apparatus in both types of programs will be determined. Athletes will compete for 8 medal sets.
