Aircraft disperse demonstrators in Libyan capital

Military aircraft was used against the demonstrators, RIA Novosti reports, citing Al-Jazeera.

Libyan state television reports that subversive groups are behind the unrest and urge people to cooperate with security forces and police. Telephone connection in Libya are off.

Minister of Justice of Libya Mustafa Abdul Jalil  has resigned in protest against "excessive use of force against the demonstrators" Reuters reports, citing the private Libyan newspaper Quryna.  The report has not yet been officially confirmed.
