Transparency International - 44% of respondents say Margvelashvili should pardon Saakashvili

According to the survey, conducted by the Transparency International – Georgia, 44% of respondents say President Giorgi Margvelashvili should pardon former President Mikheil Saakashvili in case he arrived in Georgia, InterPressNews reported. 

The survey, which is ordered by organization, reflects the results of the public opinion survey and is carried out by the Caucasus Research Resource Centers (CRRC). According to the same survey, 38% of respondents say that President Margvelashvili should not pardon Saakashvili. 18 % - refrained from replying to the question. 

The survey was conducted on March 3-28 and a total of 1843 people were interviewed throughout Georgia. The average margin of error is 2.8 percent.
