Georgian MPs to be fined for truancy

Georgian MPs who do not attend the plenary meeting will be fined, stated on February, 25 the first deputy chairman of the Georgian Parliament Mikheil Machavariani, Georgia Online reports.

It should be noted that today's plenary meeting started with a 20-minute delay in the absence of a quorum. The meeting was scheduled for 11:00, but by this time in the room had only 66 MPs, while the quorum requires 76 people.
