Police car blown up in Dagestan

A police car was blown up in Makhachkala on Thursday evening. There were no injuries, RIA Novosti cites a police spokesman as saying.

An unidentified bomb was activated via a remote control at Akushynsky Avenue at 23.15 (Moscow time). The bomb had an iron coating and was filled with ammonium nitrate and aluminum powder with iron shards as projectiles. The bomb's force was equivalent to 200 g of TNT. The bomb was planted under a billboard.
