Terrorist attacks lose Kabardino-Balkaria millions

The budget of Kabardino-Balkaria has lost millions of rubles due to the recent terrorist attacks against tourists, a State Duma deputy, Adalbi Shkhagoshev, told a press-conference at RIA Novosti.

Two terrorist attacks were registered in Kabardino-Balkaria on February 18. A vehicle with tourists from Moscow was attacked, three people died. A cable way at a ski resort at Elbrus was blown up, 30 out of 45 cable cars crashed, there were no injuries.

Restoration of the cable way needs at least 100 million rubles and 2-5 months. The deputy added that tourists prefer Karachay-Cherkessia and other resorts.
