Situation in Nalchik taken under control

Russian presidential envoy to the North Caucasus Federal District (NCFD) Alexander Khloponin has taken control over the situation in Kabardino-Balkaria, where on Friday night militants attacked its capital, Nalchik, Khloponin's representative Natalia Platonov told RIA Novosti.
According to preliminary data, one road police officer was killed by the militants.
All the militants managed to escape, a source in the law-enforcement bodies told RIA-Novosti by telephone.
Information about ten victims of the bombing at the FSB sanatorium in Nalchik, was denied by the Russian FSB, RIA-Novosti reports.
