Vehicle with explosives found in Dagestan

A vehicle with a dead body has been found in the Karabudakhkent District of Dagestan, Interfax cites a police source as saying.

The vehicle was found on the “Caucasus” Federal Highway near a bridge over the Kolichi River. The vehicle burned down after a blast inside it. The bomb's explosive force was equivalent to 1 kg of TNT.

The driver, said to be a local from Gurben, died in the blast. Gurben is well-known after the terrorist attack at Domodedovo airport. A militant leader’s wife blew herself up in Moscow at a hotel before the terrorist attack at the airport. Two Wahhabi suicide-bombers, Vitaly Razdobudko from Pyatigorsk and his wife Marina Khorosheva, attacked the police a few days after.

The police found 15 bullets with a caliber of 5.45 mm, parts of batteries, wires and documents.
