Police disperse peaceful demonstration of vendors in Yerevan

The Yerevan police used force to disperse a peaceful rally of street vendors, Trend reports, citing ArmInfo.

As reported by eyewitnesses, the rally was attended by dozens of people and representatives of human rights initiatives. The protesters demanded the licensing of the street trade, which is their only means of survival.

According to protesters, a number of police units arrived to the place where the rally took place and dispersed the demonstrators.

According to unconfirmed data, several people were injured and one woman was hospitalized as a result of the clashes.
