Tragic road accident in Gyumri, victim dies on the spot

A fatal road accident occurred Thursday in Gyumri, the second largest city of Armenia, News.am reported.

A light commercial van hit a 54-year-old man, at around 10am.

According to shamshyan.com, the man died on the spot.

The vehicle’s driver, who is said to be a Georgian citizen, did not flee the scene.

According to shamshyan.com’s source, the victim was cleaning manholes, together with his coworkers.
