Unemployment rate in Ingushetia will reach the average level for the North Caucasus Federal District by 2016

Last year VK reported about the biggest problems of Ingushetia, i.e. unemployment and drugs http://www.vestikavkaza.ru/articles/obshestvo/Health/30445.html.

In early 2010 the registered unemployment rate in Ingushetia was 26.4%. At the end of 2010 it was 23%.

The republic's employment service is developing programmes for stimulating labour mobility, development of small business and professional training. It is suggested to bring employees  to the republic from other regions, so they can find the necessary staff. Due to the federal programmes "South of Russia" and "Social and Economic Development of Ingushetia in 2010-2016", 18,000 working places will be established. Annually, the republic demands ever more highly-skilled staff. The practice of cooperation between Ingushetia and other regions of Russia in the sphere of employment is to be continued.

As for another major problem of Ingushetia - drug addiction - it is beginning to transform. A new threat is nasvai, a potion sold by old women near schools, in markets and bus stations. Nasvai is chewing tobacco from Central Asia. Consumption of nasvai leads to addiction.

Officially nasvai is not a drug, the authorities can only try to explain to people what it really is.
