Pentagon supports Trump's decision to invite Putin to US

United States Deputy Defense Secretary John Roode supported the decision of President Donald Trump to invite Russian Presiвent Vladimir Putin to the United States.

"Sharing experience and frank discussion between our leaders is what needs to be done, I consider it quite normal and practical," Roode said, answering the questions asked by the American journalists.

At the same time, the deputy head of the Pentagon stressed that Russia is the most important player on the world stage, RIA Novosti reports.
