Russia's 79th humanitarian convoy crosses border with Ukraine

Russia send the humanitarian aid to eastern Ukraine this morning from Rostov region, the Russian Emergencies Ministry said.

The Emergencies Ministry's vehicles have already crossed the Russian-Ukrainian border, AiF-Rostov reports.

The 79th batch of humanitarian cargo includes medicines and medical equipment. It was jointly collected by the ministry, federal executive bodies, executive authorities of constituent entities and public organizations.

Russia has sent over 74,000 tons of humanitarian aid to Donetsk and Lugansk (Donbas) since August 2014.
